For on-air talent, journalists, actors, and creators ready to feel more at home on camera
COACHING FOR PEOPLE IN THE PUBLIC EYE
What you may be experiencing
You know you're good at what you do. But when the camera is on, something tightens, and the parts of you that make you compelling get harder to access.
Often what's underneath is a nervous system trying to keep up with the pressure of being watched. I help you build the steadiness to stay grounded under that pressure, so you sound like yourself and your audience actually trusts you.
Why this matters
Audiences pick up on tension fast, even when they can't name it. When you're grounded and present, the people watching you relax, too. That ease reads as real authority and allows what you're saying to get through and stick.
The path to feeling like yourself on camera
I trained as a psychotherapist, and I bring that same clinical grounding to performance coaching, along with what I learned firsthand from years on air. We start with what's actually happening in your body under pressure. Once you can regulate that, your voice and delivery follow. A few threads run through the work:
• Nervous system regulation, so you can stay calm and present even when the pressure is highest.
• Identifying and moving beyond limiting beliefs like imposter syndrome so you grow and feel more joy in the job.
• Voice and presence work, to help you access your natural authority instead of performing a version of confidence.
• Communication training built from my own broadcasting career, applied to how you connect with an audience and hold a room.
About this coaching
How we can work together
This coaching is performance- and support-focused, built around how you show up in high-pressure, public-facing moments. It draws on my clinical training and comes with its own agreement and fee structure.
What coaching looks like
Coaching is tailored to your schedule and the demands of your role. I work with clients on:
• One-on-one coaching ahead of a launch, interview, or new on-air role
• Ongoing coaching for anchors, hosts, and other on-air talent
• Support around public speaking and live appearances
Because this is coaching rather than clinical therapy, I can work with clients nationwide. Fees are structured around the scope of the work. Reach out and we'll figure out what makes sense.
Why I do this work
My story
Before I became a therapist, I spent years as a broadcast journalist anchoring and reporting into live programs, often for hours at a time, on national shows like Good Morning America, Bloomberg TV, and CNN.
Early in my career, I was young and full of nerves, and my self-conscious delivery got in the way of my credibility and the stories I was telling. I worked with a voice and performance coach who understood both my craft and my nervous system, someone who was, in her own way, a bit of a therapist to me. That work changed how I showed up on air, and it's part of why I became a therapist myself.
Today I coach clients so they can do what she helped me do: reset their nervous system and build an on-air presence that feels confident and like their own.
