For founders, CEOs, and senior executives ready to lead as themselves
LEADERSHIP COACHING
What you may be experiencing
Even if you’re successful, you have the sense you're not leading as well as you could be. Often what's driving this is perfectionism, the instinct to control every outcome and always have the answer. It's a paradox because this same pattern that created your success is what stands between you and the relationships and teams you actually want.
I help you name what’s not working and learn new ways of being so you can build trust and lead teams people want to be part of.
Why this matters
Your team takes its cues from you, especially under pressure. Leaders who bring curiosity, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence into high-stakes moments build teams that speak up, take risks, and consistently outperform their peers.
The path to leading as yourself
I trained as a psychotherapist, and this coaching is built on that foundation, along with Brené Brown's research on vulnerability and courageous leadership. A few threads run through the work:
• A psychoanalytic lens, to help you see the unconscious patterns and internal narratives running the show.
• Nervous system and mindfulness-based work, so you can stay grounded under pressure and hold hard conversations.
• Narrative and communication training from my years as a journalist, applied to how you tell your story and lead through change.
This coaching is forward-looking, and built specifically around your leadership and how you want to grow. It draws on my clinical training as a therapist, but it isn’t therapy, and it comes with its own agreement and fee structure.
About this coaching
How we can work together
What coaching looks like
Sessions run 60 to 90 minutes, once or twice a week, on a monthly retainer. We’ll focus on your leadership and how you're showing up.
I also work with organizations directly, on:
• Leadership group curriculum and facilitated discussion
• Executive offsite facilitation and programming
• Employee engagement and culture initiatives
Before I became a therapist, I spent years reporting under pressure, in high-visibility roles where composure mattered as much as what I was saying.
I learned that confidence and authenticity start with a calm nervous system. We can’t inspire an audience unless we are first connected to ourselves and our message. This kind of presence also means clear thinking, better decisions, and more effective interactions with the people you need to help you succeed.
Since leaving journalism and training as a psychotherapist, I have advised and coached dozens of leaders on internal communications, media strategy, active listening, brave conversations, and navigating crisis. Leadership that is conscious, vulnerable, and empathetic changes company cultures and lives. It’s why this work matters to me.
